D. C. Douglas is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on February 2, 1966 in Berkeley, California, United States. In the was the same year that Douglas created, wrote and acted as a lead actor in Falling Words, his first festival short film. In the following years, Douglas produced, wrote and directed The Eighth Plane, an anti-Scientology film, as well as Freud in the form of Darwin sitting in a Tree, about Lewis Henry Morgan. The 2005 video, Duck, Duck, Goose! was screened at festivals around the world and was awarded the most acclaimed Short of the Seattle’s True Independent Film Festival (STIFF) and Best Actor at The Trenton Film Festival.
His 2009 CGI film short, The Crooked Eye starring Fay Masterson and narrated by Academy Award-winner Linda Hunt, played at festivals and won awards for Best Narration (STIFF), Best Screenplay (HDFest) and Best Animated Short (Red Rock Film Festival).
In April 2010, Douglas came under fire from the Tea Party movement for a phone call he made to Freedomworks in which he left an inflammatory voice mail. Douglas was a stage actor throughout his time in the San Francisco Bay Area in the latter part of the 70s and 1980s before moving into Los Angeles in 1985 to learn in the Estelle Harman Actors Workshop. While in Los Angeles, he co-founded the improv group Section Eight and was also an actor in Theatre of NOTE. He was in 1996 when he got an unimportant role as a character in Boston Common, an NBC pilot. The show was later renewed for a season, it was re-cast in a regular role as D.C., the antagonist to Hedy Burress’s character.
